What memories do I have of Rob? So many, having served with him as a fellow Councillor since 2011. We were on several committees together, and I particularly recall our times as Down Conservators and on TGMB. I was privileged to be a member of Rob’s Charity Committee for his mayoral year, and Rosemary really kept us on our toes, helping to make the year such a success! We so much enjoyed Rob’s interest in motor sports. I’d not been driven in a ‘home made’ car before, nor had I been for a ‘day trip’ in a coach driven by someone I knew. All Councillors bring something different to their roles. Rob brought an honest, ethical and down to earth attitude and a real commitment to his residents and the wider community.
