On Saturday night my social media picked up that one of "The Orange Army" had been injured at a crash at Brands Hatch. The world of Motorcycling and Racing hold members of The Orange Army in very high regard, as without them - there would be on racing. On Sunday morning I was shocked to hear that the Marshal at Brands Hatch has sadly been killed as a result of a racing incident, so I was devastated to find out on Monday that the Marshal was Robert. I knew Robert loved his engines and all things mechanical as he was a talented engineer - we have a mutal passion for motorcycling and I remember how chuffed he was when we met him down at Madeira Drive in Brighton at the end of the Pioneer Run when he was Mayor and made a big fuss of him.
